Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) – Registered Nurse
Location: Asheville, NC
Contract Duration: 91 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Role
You'll manage complex cases requiring advanced nursing skills and clinical judgment in a team-focused environment.
Clinical Scope
- IV starts, central line dressing changes, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and ICP monitoring
- Tube feeding and placement
- Assisting with procedures including catheterizations and lumbar punctures
Requirements
- Current RN license
- PALS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year PICU experience
Scheduling
- 6-week rotation: must work 3 weekends
- May float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed
- HUC on-site 9 AM–9 PM; shared tech support
Uniform
All navy, all white, or navy pants with white tops

Work alongside experienced staff in a supportive, collaborative setting dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.
