Emergency Department Nurse
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

About the Role
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across all ED areas, including , monitoring, and behavioral units
- Collaborate with techs, unit clerks, and interdisciplinary teams
- Coach colleagues in real time and provide feedback
- Maintain patient experience standards through AIDET principles and respectful communication
- Float flexibly within the ED as staffing needs require
Requirements
- 2+ years nursing experience; minimum 1 year in an ED setting
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC (all required before hire)
- Experience in a Level II trauma or comprehensive stroke center preferred
- Teamwork mindset and flexibility across all ED sections
- Navy scrubs required
Schedule
Every other weekend rotation; no block scheduling accommodations.
