Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a full-time position with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
• Monday–Friday or per facility staffing needs
• Full-time, 1 position available

Clinical Environment

You'll work in a fast-paced emergency department caring for diverse patient populations across all acuity levels. Responsibilities include triaging patients, providing direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely emergency care.

Requirements

• Current RN license (North Carolina)
• BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
• ER experience preferred
• Ability to work night shift and adapt to dynamic patient volumes

• Location: Asheville, NC
• Guaranteed hours with potential for additional shifts
