Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift

Location: Asheville, NC

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

About the Role

The facility's Respiratory Services department is seeking an experienced RRT to join the night shift team supporting adult critical care, NICU, and pediatric service lines. You'll provide direct patient care across all critical care units and floors, managing patients with varying acuity levels and respiratory support needs.

Required Qualifications

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Preferred

• NRP certification

Unit Details

• Patient ratios: 10–25
• Float responsibilities across all critical care units and floors
• Varying weekends: minimum 4 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Dress code: Medium gray/pewter scrubs

What You'll Do

Manage a full range of respiratory interventions including mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, and transport support. Work in a busy clinical environment that serves as a regional referral center with comprehensive critical care services.
