Radiologic Technologist – Multimodality
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to operate CT equipment and support imaging services. You will produce cross-sectional diagnostic images and perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures for patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric populations.
Shift & Duration
- Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 5 days per week (36 hours guaranteed)
- 13-week contract
- Start date: October 5, 2026
- Primary start time is 1:30 PM with flexibility based on departmental needs
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care across diverse age groups
- Transfer images via PACS and teleradiology systems to appropriate locations
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration
- Manage imaging supply inventory
Required Qualifications
- R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) certification
- Current Radiologic Tech (RT) license in California
- Current BLS certification
- Fluoroscopy license (if operating fluoroscopy equipment in CA)
- Venipuncture certification (if administering contrast materials in CA)
- Minimum two years recent multimodality experience
- CT experience required; X-ray and OR experience preferred
- Proficiency in at least two modalities (CT, X-ray, OR)
