Registered Nurse – Med-Surg Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Med-Surg Telemetry unit. You'll provide care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and general medical-surgical support on a fast-paced night shift.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
- 13-week contract with 88 guaranteed weekly hours
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
- Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring and electronic health records
- Travel nursing experience required
- Current 2024/2025 flu vaccination required prior to start
- Telemetry competency assessment on first day of orientation
What You'll Do
Monitor and care for patients on cardiac telemetry, manage med-surg patient populations, respond to telemetry alarms, and collaborate with the night team to deliver quality patient care.
