NICU Nurse – 12-Hour Day Shifts
Position Overview
The facility's NICU provides critical care to newborns requiring Level 3 or 4 support. You'll work in a structured environment caring for medically complex infants and collaborating with an experienced interdisciplinary team.
Schedule & Duration
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
- Every third weekend off
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience (Level 3 or 4)
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems
What You'll Do
Provide direct patient care to critically ill and premature infants, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications and fluids, supporting respiratory management, and educating families. You'll participate in daily rounds and collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other clinicians to deliver evidence-based care.
