Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Englewood, CO
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Alternating 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and 7:30 AM–4:30 PM (4 × 10-hour days)
Start Date: October 5, 2026
About the Role
The facility's interventional radiology department is seeking an experienced IR Technologist to join a collaborative team performing high-acuity diagnostic and interventional procedures. You'll work in a fast-paced environment supporting neuro interventional cases (strokes, aneurysms, subarachnoid hemorrhage) and trauma-related vascular and urologic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with neuro interventional procedures including comprehensive stroke cases, aneurysm management, and hemorrhage intervention
- Support vascular interventional cases including embolization, GI bleed management, and urologic stent/tube placements
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
- Position patients and assist with imaging protocols
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and nursing staff in a team-based model
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months current acute care hospital IR Tech experience
- ARRT(R) certification
- BLS certification
- Neuro interventional experience strongly preferred
- Expertise in vascular interventional procedures preferred
- Self-motivated, thrives in high-acuity fast-paced environments
What to Expect
- Team of 2 IR Techs and 1 IR RN per shift
- On-call: 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month (possible holiday coverage)
- Guaranteed hours: 36/week
