Emergency Department – Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the emergency department for a 13-week contract working night shifts. You'll deliver care to a diverse patient population in a high-acuity setting that manages both adult and pediatric emergencies.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Location: Los Angeles, CA
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Floating: Required in rotation with facility staff; orientation provided for new units
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in emergency nursing
- License: Current California RN license in hand
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Charting System: Paragon (training provided)
- Vaccinations: COVID-19 vaccine required; no exemptions
Onboarding
Two required courses must be completed within 30 days of your start date:
- Assaultive Behavior training
- Fire Card certification
Documentation is due 2 Mondays prior to your start date. Request time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; post-offer requests will not be approved.
