RN – ICU, Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an RN for night-shift ICU nursing (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), working three 12-hour shifts per week. This is a 13-week contract position in Los Angeles, CA.

Requirements

• 2+ years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Valid California nursing license
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)

Clinical Scope

You will provide direct patient care in the ICU, supporting patients across multiple specialty areas including medical, neuro, surgical, and trauma cases. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team and participate in a full orientation to the facility's charting system (Paragon training provided).

Scheduling & Float

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Float availability required: ICU nurses may be asked to float to stepdown or telemetry units as needed, with appropriate orientation provided
• Mandatory onboarding: Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card courses must be completed within 30 days of start (fees apply)

All required documentation is due two Mondays before your start date.
