Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Intensive Care Unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment, managing acutely ill patients across medical, neurological, surgical, and trauma populations.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Float Requirements: You may be asked to float to other ICU levels, step-down units, or telemetry based on clinical experience and census needs. Appropriate orientation to any new unit will be provided.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Current California RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Charting system: Paragon (training provided)
• Clear background check (DUI hits will disqualify)

Onboarding

You'll complete two mandatory courses within 30 days of your start date:

• Assaultive Behavior Course
• Fire Card Course

Time Off & Documentation

All time-off requests must be submitted with your application. Requests submitted after an offer is accepted will not be approved. Documentation is due two Mondays prior to your start date.
