Physical Therapist — Inpatient Rehabilitation
Location: Manchester, NH
Contract: 56 weeks | Full-time (40 guaranteed hours/week)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible start between 7–8 AM)
About the Role
The inpatient physical therapy department is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join a dedicated, collaborative team. You'll evaluate and treat patients across acute care settings, with a focus on cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic populations. Daily assignments are designed to keep you on 1–2 floors, allowing for continuity of care and meaningful patient relationships.
What You'll Do
- Conduct PT evaluations and provide individualized treatment
- Work with an interprofessional team (OT, SLP, Therapy Director)
- Float to all inpatient units and the emergency department as needed
- See approximately 10 patients per 8-hour shift
- Use standard rehabilitation equipment including parallel bars, stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
Requirements
- Current NH Physical Therapy License (must be in hand at time of application)
- BLS Certification
- Acute care experience required
- Vestibular experience preferred but not required
Scheduling
- Monday–Friday core schedule
- One weekend shift per month (self-selected)
- Flexible start times
Dress Code: Scrubs (any color)
