MRI Technologist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an MRI Technologist for night shift coverage. This is a 13-week contract position working Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
Requirements
- Current New York state license (must be in hand at start)
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
- ARRT R and BLS certification
- Willingness to float as needed
Clinical Scope
You'll perform MRI imaging across multiple anatomies, including brain, spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), abdomen, breast, chest, and soft tissue imaging. Experience with advanced techniques such as diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, perfusion studies, multiplanar reconstruction, and image post-processing (ADC mapping, subtraction) is expected. You'll work with patients across all age groups—pediatrics through geriatrics—in both acute care and outpatient settings.
Unit Details
The department manages approximately 20 patient visits daily and includes strong interdisciplinary support: IV teams, respiratory services, radiology interpretation, rapid response, pharmacy, and transportation services.
