Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week contract working nights. This role offers 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total) with guaranteed hours.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Night rotation, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Start date: November 9, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience
- Strong ventilator management skills
- Experience with tracheostomies and chest tubes
- Travel experience preferred
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and stroke assessments (NIHSS)
Clinical Scope
You'll monitor patients on telemetry, manage ventilator-dependent patients, and respond to acute changes in patient status. The role involves care of patients with varying acuity levels, with emphasis on respiratory support and hemodynamic monitoring.
What We're Looking For
A self-directed, experienced nurse comfortable with night shifts and able to work independently while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
