Emergency Department – Nurse (Nights)
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll join the night shift team in a fast-paced, acute-care environment.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Float: As needed to the Clinical Decision Unit
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact state RN license
- ACLS certification (current)
- PALS certification (current)
- NIHSS certification (current)
- Candidates must be willing to relocate within a 50-mile radius; local travelers are not considered
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: As outlined in contract terms
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency setting, triaging and managing acute presentations, performing assessments, administering medications, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team. Float assignments to the Clinical Decision Unit will require flexibility and strong clinical fundamentals.
This role is ideal for a night-shift nurse seeking a structured, short-term contract with predictable scheduling and clear clinical expectations.
