Neuro and Ortho Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Neuro and Ortho nurse for a night shift assignment. You'll work a 3 × 12-hour schedule (NOC, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a medical-surgical setting managing post-operative and acute orthopaedic and neurological patients.

Requirements

• 18 months minimum experience in orthopaedic and/or neurological nursing
• Current Georgia or compact state RN license (in hand)
• AHA BLS Certification
• NIHSS Certification

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours/week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 9, 2026
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

What You'll Do

Provide direct patient care to orthopaedic and neurological post-op and acute patients. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, wound care, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Night shift requires flexibility and strong communication skills in a busier evening-to-morning environment.
