Cardiac Critical Care RN – Night Shift
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac Critical Care RN to join the ICU team. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment managing high-acuity cardiac patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia)
- Minimum 2 years of cardiac critical care experience
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification
- CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience
- BLS required; ACLS and PCCN preferred
Schedule & Contract
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 13-week contract with 90 guaranteed hours
- Start date: November 9, 2026
Clinical Scope
You'll care for post-cardiac surgery patients, manage hemodynamic monitoring, administer vasoactive medications, and support patients requiring advanced renal support. The unit focuses on high-acuity cardiac pathology and post-procedural recovery.
What We're Looking For
A self-directed, detail-oriented RN with strong assessment skills, the ability to work independently during night shifts, and a commitment to excellent patient outcomes. Experience with stroke alert protocols and renal replacement therapy is essential.
