Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Cardiac PCU nurse for a 90-week assignment in Atlanta, GA. You'll work the day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours total).

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of strong cardiac PCU experience
• Current Georgia or compact nursing license
• NIHSS certification required
• RN licensure

What to Expect

You'll provide care to patients in the progressive care setting, managing post-acute cardiac patients, monitoring telemetry, and supporting patients through recovery and transition. The role includes standard PCU responsibilities: assessments, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
