Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – 3 × 12 Hour Shifts

Position Overview

Join the cardiac stepdown unit as a Registered Nurse. You'll provide skilled nursing care to patients transitioning from acute care, managing post-operative cardiac patients and those requiring continuous monitoring and intervention.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks with guaranteed hours

Requirements

• Current RN license: Georgia or compact license required
• 18+ months of direct cardiac PCU experience
• NIHSS certification required

What You'll Do

Work in a cardiac stepdown environment where you'll monitor post-surgical cardiac patients, manage hemodynamic changes, administer medications, and coordinate care transitions. You'll collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth patient progression toward discharge.
