Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its cardiac progressive care unit. You'll provide care to patients recovering from cardiac events and procedures, monitoring for complications and supporting early mobilization and discharge planning.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (AM shift)
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes
• Start Date: November 9, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license: Georgia or compact license required
• 18 months of strong cardiac PCU experience
• NIHSS certification required
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, post-procedure care, and patient assessment

The Role

You'll work in a busy stepdown environment caring for cardiac patients at intermediate acuity. Responsibilities include hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and coordination of care with the interdisciplinary team.
