Labor and Delivery Nurse

Position Overview

Join the labor and delivery unit at the facility in Wichita, KS. This is a 90-week contract position offering 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Ceil blue scrubs

Clinical Scope

You'll provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care. You'll work with the electronic medical record system and collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and ancillary staff to support safe, family-centered birth.

Requirements

• Valid RN license (Nursys verification required)
• Current immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
• Two-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
• Fit test completion
• Negative background check; EPLS clearance
• Driver's license/State ID
• EKG competency
• Skills and education verification

Onboarding

You'll complete facility-specific competency assessments, orientation checklists, and electronic medical record training during your first week.

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 1, 2026
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
