Women's Health / OBGYN Clinic – RN

Position Overview

The facility's busy Women's Health / OBGYN clinic seeks an experienced RN for immediate placement in an ambulatory setting. You'll work Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, managing high-risk pregnant patients and delivering comprehensive prenatal care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage multiple Non-Stress Tests (NSTs) simultaneously
• Perform OB intake, , and pregnancy assessments
• Manage patients with high-risk obstetric conditions (placental abnormalities, ectopic pregnancy, pregnancy-induced hypertension)
• Administer procedures under moderate sedation
• Perform Doppler Velocimetry (DVP) ultrasounds (training provided on-site)
• Handle patient calls, follow-ups, and telephone
• Manage in-basket communications and medication refills
• Conduct pelvic exams and blood glucose monitoring
• Provide patient education and referrals

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN License
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
• Basic & Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum 4 years' experience with strong L&D and background
• Proficiency with electronic health records

Preferred

• BSN degree
• AWONN Certification (Intermediate or Advanced)
• IV and oral sedation experience
• Injection administration experience

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (5×8-hour shifts)
• 24 hours of orientation
• Float requirements within hospital as needed
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions available)
