CCU Nurse – Travel Position

About the Role

The facility's CCU manages high-acuity cardiac and stroke patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. You'll deliver direct patient care using the nursing process while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to maintain clinical excellence.

Clinical Focus

• Adult cardiac and telemetry patients
• Acute stroke care
• Vascular intervention support
• Hemodynamic monitoring and management

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Hours: 36 hours per week (overtime available)
• Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday required
• On-call: May be placed on call during low-census periods; must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour
• Contract: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• EMR experience within the last 12 months in a similar critical care unit
• Self-study of telemetry strips required upon acceptance; basic dysrhythmia test (must pass) given first week of assignment
