RN – Float Pool (Med/Surg & Telemetry)

About the Role

You'll provide nursing support across multiple inpatient units at the facility, with a primary focus on medical/surgical and telemetry care. This is a 13-week contract offering flexibility and variety in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (36 hours/week, with potential for overtime)
• Every other weekend rotation
• Every other holiday rotation required
• Occasional on-call during low-census periods; must respond within one hour if called

Clinical Scope

You'll deliver care to diverse patient populations—geriatric, adult medical/surgical, psychiatric, and telemetry patients. Duties include assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with interdisciplinary teams.

Float Responsibilities

You'll rotate among non-critical care inpatient units at the main campus and may occasionally float to other facility locations. If you have critical care experience, you may float to the CCU or ICU. Units may include Behavioral Health and the Emergency Department.

Current Ratios

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS certification (required)
• Willingness to self-study telemetry strips and pass a Basic Dysrhythmia test during orientation
