CCU / Telemetry Nurse — Nights | West Burlington, IA

13-Week Contract | 36 Hours/Week | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

This night-shift CCU position focuses on adult cardiac, telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring patients. You'll apply the full nursing process — assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation — while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary care team.

What to Expect:

• High-acuity cardiac and neuro patient population requiring close rhythm monitoring and hemodynamic assessment
• Every other weekend rotation and every other holiday required
• Occasional low-census call may occur; if called in, you must be able to arrive on-site within one hour
• Overtime possible beyond the guaranteed 36-hour week

Before You Start:

Candidates must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance. A Basic Dysrhythmia test-out will be administered during the first week — passing is required to work in the CCU/ICU-CCU units.

Required Certifications & Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Recent experience in a like unit (cardiac/telemetry, CCU, or ICU-CCU)
• Electronic medical record experience in a comparable unit within the last 12 months

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
