Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a day-shift role working Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with 40 hours scheduled and 36 hours guaranteed weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT (N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
- CT experience preferred
- Venipuncture experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (required for this assignment)
- Previous travel healthcare experience strongly encouraged
Clinical Scope
You'll perform diagnostic imaging procedures in nuclear medicine, including patient preparation, radiopharmaceutical administration, imaging acquisition, and quality assurance. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to radiation safety protocols, and strong patient communication skills.
Important Details
- Start Date: May 2026 only
- Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs in any solid color (no designs, cartoons, or hoodies)
- Time Off: Maximum 5 days of requested time off during contract (must be noted at submission)
- Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2 hours' notice
- Compliance: 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance; onboarding training from Welle or CPI required
