Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist
Position Overview
Join the cardiovascular operating room team as an experienced Surgical Technologist. This is a 13-week contract position in Atlanta, GA, beginning October 19, 2026.
Schedule & Hours
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week average)
- Weekday shifts: 5 PM–11 PM and 11 PM–7 AM
- Weekend and holiday shifts: 7 AM–7 PM and 7 PM–7 AM
- Approximately 70+ hours per four-week period (may vary)
- One Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per rotation (need not be consecutive)
- Holiday rotation required, including weekends surrounding holidays
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Current surgical technologist certification/licensure
- Willingness to float to General OR as needed
Clinical Environment
You'll support cardiovascular surgical cases in a fast-paced OR setting. Responsibilities include instrument management, case setup, and procedural assistance. The role demands flexibility and adaptability across multiple shift times and occasional float assignments.
