Emergency Department RN — Conroe, TX

13-Week Contract | Evening/Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (15:00–03:00)

This travel RN opportunity is based in a busy Emergency Department in Conroe, TX. The unit manages a high-volume, mixed-acuity patient population with a strong team of RNs, charge nurses, and ancillary support across all shifts.

Clinical Scope

The ED handles a broad range of emergency presentations, including stroke workups, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and patients requiring moderate sedation. Common procedures include NIH stroke assessments, IV access and blood draws, cardiac monitoring, and airway management with ventilator and BiPAP/CPAP support.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour evening/night shifts, 15:00–03:00
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No float requirement

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC certification
• Prior ED experience with moderate sedation and high-acuity patients
• Strong teamwork orientation with demonstrated compassion and empathy
