Emergency Room (FSED) – Travel RN

Pasadena, TX | Mid-Evening to Overnight Shift | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN role is based in a freestanding emergency department managing a broad range of acute and emergent presentations. The unit delivers full emergency care, including cardiac monitoring, moderate sedation, and neurological assessment.

Shift & Schedule

• 15:00–03:00
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekends as needed or every other (per preference)
• No on-call requirement

Clinical Scope

• Procedures: IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedation, splinting
• Patient population spans adult and pediatric emergencies
• High-acuity environment requiring confident, independent clinical judgment
• Float coverage to a secondary FSED location may be required

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN License
• ACLS, BLS, PALS
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• CPI

Preferred Certifications

• ENPC
• NRP

Dress Code

• Royal blue scrubs
• Closed-toe shoes (no open-hole clogs)
• No false nails, earbuds, or smart glasses
• Stethoscope required
