Progressive Care Unit – Cardiac Nursing
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced RN for a 13-week assignment on a cardiac progressive care unit. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with every-other-weekend rotation.
Unit & Patient Population
Required Experience & Skills
- Stepdown or progressive care background
- Telemetry monitoring experience
- Proficiency with titratable cardiac IV medications (nitroglycerin, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutuamine, insulin drips, heparin, loop diuretics)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin)
- Relief charge nurse experience
Clinical Scope
Bedside cardioversion and standard progressive care interventions. You'll work with a collaborative team in a supportive environment.
Floating
Float to all medical-surgical units, additional stepdown areas, and ER holding as needed.
Dress Code
All white, all navy, or white top with navy pants.
Contract Details
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week assignment
