Interventional Radiology RN – 13-Week Contract
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (no weekends, no on-call)
Location: Decatur, TX
Duration: 13 weeks | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
About the Role
Join the interventional radiology team as a registered nurse. You'll work in a focused procedural setting supporting image-guided interventions and providing moderate sedation care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Typical Procedures
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Port placement
- Permanent catheter placement
Team Structure
The unit operates with a small, collaborative team: 2 RNs, 1 IR technologist, and 1 radiologist on day shift.
Requirements
Must Have:
- Current RN license
- Moderate sedation experience or willingness to obtain certification (provided on-site)
Preferred:
- Interventional radiology nursing experience
