Registered Nurse – PACU

Position Overview

Join the patient care team in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) providing direct care to patients recovering from anesthesia and procedures. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, work under the attending physician's direction, and practice within the New York State Nurse Practice Act scope.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start: November 12, 2026
• Guaranteed hours: 90 per week
• Must be available to work holidays as needed
• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per contract with 2-hour notice

Required Experience

• 2+ years PACU experience (required)
• Procedural sedation experience (required)
• AM admissions, blocks, and recovery experience (required)
• Electronic health record (EHR) system experience (required)
• Previous travel nursing (highly preferred)

Credentials & Licenses

• Current New York RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Permanent address required (must match state ID)

Dress Code

Personal scrubs, any color (no designs, cartoons, or hoodies)

• Time off requests (maximum 5 days) must be noted at submission; changes after upload will not be approved
• 8-hour non-billable orientation included
