Medical/Surgical RN – Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical/Surgical RN to deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care on the day shift. This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, days
- Location: Machias, ME
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care on a medical/surgical unit
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Document care thoroughly and accurately using hospital systems
- Function independently while exercising sound clinical judgment
- Respond rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (Maine)
- Strong assessment, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
