Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Milton, MA

13-Week Contract | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Other Weekend

This Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit cares for a diverse mix of surgical patients with overflow of medical patients. Nurses float between all Med-Surg Telemetry units as needed. There are no telemetry technicians on this unit — all RNs are required to independently read and interpret their own cardiac rhythm strips.

Schedule & Hours

• 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend
• 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Pre-Acceptance Testing

Before acceptance, candidates must pass two assessments administered via Zoom:

• Dysrhythmia test (20 questions)
• Medication test (20 questions)
• Passing score: 85% | One attempt only — no retakes or remediation

A study guide with tips will be provided. Testing must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute Med-Surg Telemetry experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Must be in good standing and separated from prior facility employment for 6+ months to be considered
