Emergency Department RN — Pasadena, TX
This travel RN opportunity is in a fast-paced Emergency Department in Pasadena, Texas. The unit manages a high-acuity, mixed adult and pediatric population with a strong focus on trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis cases.
Shift & Schedule
- 15:00–03:00 (mid-to-overnight)
- Alternate weekends required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Clinical Scope
- High-acuity emergency presentations including trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis
- Common procedures include thoracotomy, arterial line placement, and massive transfusion protocol (MTP)
- Adult and pediatric patient population
Required Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- TNCC, ENPC
- CPI with TIC
- NRP and STABLE a plus
Candidate Requirements
- Extensive emergency nursing experience with trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis
- Strong critical thinking skills in high-acuity environments
- Adult and pediatric ED experience preferred
- Flexible, accountable team player

- Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
- Float: May be required to float to freestanding ED locations
