Position Details
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
- Schedule: 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period; no call required
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: August 31, 2026
About the Unit
The unit serves as a regional referral center for high-risk obstetric and trauma patients, with strong maternal and neonatal designations.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (current in Texas)
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHON Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications
- Minimum 3 years of high-risk OB experience
- Advanced EFM certification
Preferred
- Experience with massive transfusion protocols
- Familiarity with placenta accreta spectrum disorders
Unit Culture
This is a self-scheduling, team-oriented environment with engaged physicians and an accessible management team. You'll work alongside a good mix of experienced and newer nurses on both shifts.
