Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a 12-hour night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a 13-week contract role.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience
- BLS & ACLS certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- AWHONN Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring certification
- Nursery/postpartum experience preferred
Unit Overview
You'll work in a busy Labor & Delivery unit managing pregnant patients from 17 weeks gestation through delivery. The patient population includes laboring women and those scheduled for procedures such as C-sections and external cephalic versions. Daily responsibilities include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op care, and deliveries (both vaginal and cesarean). You'll use fetal monitors and electronic documentation systems to provide comprehensive maternal and fetal care.
