Burn ICU – Night Shift RN

Position Overview

This 13-week contract offers 36 guaranteed hours per week with an option to extend. You'll deliver critical care to adult burn patients across varying acuity levels, from initial admission through discharge.

Clinical Scope

The unit manages acute burn injuries and post-operative burn care. You'll perform or assist with debridement, dressing changes, line insertions, and chest tube management. Strong hemodynamic monitoring and drip titration skills are essential. The team includes a dedicated burn surgeon, nurse practitioner, intensivist, and multidisciplinary staff available 24/7.

Requirements

• BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications (required)
• NIH certification and CRRT training (required)
• ICU experience with burn care preferred
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
• ABLS certification preferred

Schedule & Expectations

• Three weekend shifts per 4-week period
• Float to ICU/PCU/CCU as needed
• No on-call requirement
• Navy blue scrubs with jacket
