Night Shift RN – Medical-Surgical Stepdown
Position Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour nights
- Schedule: 4 days per week (48-hour guarantee)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Unit Overview
You'll provide total nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a medical-surgical stepdown setting. This role involves coordinating patient care, patient and family teaching, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to maintain professional nursing standards.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- Cardiac drip experience (required)
- Dementia care experience and management skills
- New Hampshire RN license or Compact license
- Active American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Certification
- NIHSS certification preferred
Important Information
- You must float to other units as needed.
- Every-other-weekend and holiday rotation required. Mandatory holiday coverage includes Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's periods.
- Personal vehicle required; this is a small community without public transportation.
- Maximum 5 days of requested time off accepted; all time-off requests must be submitted with your initial application.
- All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance.
- Block scheduling is not accommodated.
New Hampshire Requirement
New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate must be submitted with your profile.
