CT Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in Gunnison, Colorado. You'll work four 10-hour day shifts plus call rotation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate advanced CT scanning equipment, including helical, axial, and CT fluoroscopy procedures
- Perform detailed image reformats using specialized workstation software
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Collaborate with ordering physicians to determine appropriate CT protocols
- Assist radiologists with interventional radiology procedures as needed
- Ensure all scanning protocols meet clinical and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Current CT Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent)
- Demonstrated knowledge of CT scanner operation and image processing
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with physicians
- Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) background check required
- Reliable personal transportation (public transportation is not available in this rural location)
