13-Week Contract | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
This Telemetry unit manages a diverse cardiac and medical patient population requiring continuous rhythm monitoring and close clinical observation. Nurses here care for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including those requiring STEMI and stroke protocols, as well as bariatric patients. The unit emphasizes RN-led, high-touch care with secretarial support available during day hours.
Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures
- Management of vasoactive drips
- Central line and PICC line placement
- BiPAP and high-flow nasal cannula management
- Enteral feeding pump management
- Advanced cardiac monitoring with real-time rhythm visualization at bedside
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS (required)
- Strong advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage vasoactive drips independently
Schedule & Float
- 36 hours/week, 12-hour day shifts
- Every 3rd weekend rotation; rotating holiday schedule
- Float rotation to MedSurg units as needed

Dress Code
