Telemetry RN | Independence, Missouri | 13-Week Contract

This Telemetry position is a day shift, 12-hour role (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on an active Progressive Care/Telemetry unit. The unit provides RN-based care with unit secretaries available from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM to support staff. Cardiac rhythm monitoring is available at the bedside in each room.

Clinical Scope

• Patients requiring telemetry monitoring, vasoactive drip management, and close hemodynamic oversight
• Procedures include central line and PICC line placement
• Respiratory support including BiPAP and heated high-flow nasal cannula
• Enteral nutrition management via feeding pumps

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 36 hours/week
• Every 3rd weekend rotation; rotating holiday schedule
• Float rotation to Med/Surg units as needed

Required Certifications & Skills

• BLS and ACLS (required)
• Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated experience managing vasoactive drips

Dress Code

• Charcoal grey scrub tops with charcoal grey or black bottoms
• Black or charcoal grey jackets
