Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab professional for a 13-week contract. You'll work in a busy cardiac catheterization lab performing diagnostic and interventional procedures on adolescent and adult patients.
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts; 4x10 shifts considered)
- Call required: Minimum 1 shift per week + every third weekend
- 8-hour orientation prior to start
- One pre-approved time off period during contract
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years interventional cardiac cath lab experience
- ACLS, BLS, and either ARRT or RCIS certification
- Strong knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition, and sterile field maintenance
Clinical Scope
You'll perform and support a range of procedures including:
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and angioplasty
- TAVR, pacemaker insertion (permanent and temporary)
- IABP and Impella placement
- Vascular closure and access site preparation
- Angiography and rotablator atherectomy
Additional Requirements
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical exemptions only)
- Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
- Former employees of Guthrie Healthcare System must have been separated for a minimum of one year
