Night Shift Trauma Nurse

Shift & Duration

Night 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

13-week contract

Intermittent weekend coverage required; no on-call

About the Role

You'll join a busy trauma unit managing high-acuity patients across all age groups. Your days will include caring for trauma patients, managing dysrhythmias, administering blood products, titrating IV vasopressors, and supporting ventilated patients. You'll work within an interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.

Hospital float is expected as needed.

Requirements

• Current, valid California nursing license
• Minimum 2 years trauma experience (or 18 months from a similar facility)
• Level I or II trauma experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, PALS
• Preferred: NIHSS, TNCC
• CPR or similar certification required before start
• Two supervisor references preferred
