Interventional Radiology Nurse
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced nurse for its Interventional Radiology (IR) unit. This is a 13-week contract position with a start date of October 19, 2026, based in Los Angeles, CA.
Shift & Schedule
- 8-hour days: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- One week of call per month:
- Weekday call: 5:30 PM–7:00 AM (daily)
- Weekend call: 7:00 AM Saturday–7:00 AM Monday
- Monthly call rotation: 5:00 PM Monday–7:00 AM the following Monday
- Holiday coverage required
- Hospital may cancel up to 3–4 shifts per assignment, depending on length
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of California)
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Pandemic licensure approval
- Experience in interventional radiology preferred
What to Expect
You'll support physicians and advanced practitioners in a fast-paced IR suite, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role requires flexibility with on-call responsibilities and a strong commitment to patient care in an acute care setting.
