Medical-Surgical RN — Night Shift | Chattanooga, TN

This 13-week contract places you on a general medical-surgical unit working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit Overview

The unit manages a diverse med-surg patient population with a focus on cardiac monitoring, wound management, and IV therapy. You'll work alongside a charge nurse, clinical coordinator, and 2–3 techs per shift in a collaborative, leadership-visible environment that values professional growth and a supportive team culture.

Required Skills & Certifications

• BLS required
• Proficient in IV starts, nasogastric tube placement, wound care, and cardiac rhythm recognition
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation (advanced skill)
• Lab draws and IV starts performed regularly on the unit

Schedule & Floating

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• May float between two med-surg units within the facility
