Respiratory Therapist – Critical Care
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide patient care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care units. You'll work nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 12-hour shift schedule, rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities. This is a 13-week contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory support and monitoring in high-acuity critical care settings
- Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and airway management across all age groups
- Mentor and train respiratory therapy staff in critical care protocols
- Work collaboratively under the RT Supervisor and Cardiopulmonary Manager
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of RRT experience
- Active Oklahoma state respiratory therapist license
- NICU experience (required)
- Associate's degree in respiratory therapy (or official transcript from accredited program)
- Current certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA)
Important Notes
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
- This position is not available to first-time travelers
- All compliance documentation must be submitted one week prior to your start date
- Rotating weekends and on-call shifts are required
- 91 guaranteed hours per contract week
