Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN to join the night shift team. You'll work in a fast-paced environment coordinating individualized patient care plans, prioritizing critically, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver evidence-based care.

Your Role:

• Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes using the nursing process
• and manage patients with sound clinical judgment and minimal supervision
• Identify barriers to communication related to psychosocial, cultural, literacy, and financial factors
• Provide patient and family education tailored to age, condition, and circumstances
• Delegate effectively to ancillary staff and mentor new hires and students
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Current, active Colorado RN license or Compact license
• BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
• PALS or ENPC certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
• TNCC certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
• STABLE certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
• NRP certification (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• 2+ years hospital nursing experience
• 1+ year ED or critical care nursing experience

Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, nights
