Radiation Therapist – Oncology Center
Position Overview
The facility's oncology center is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join the team on a 13-week contract. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM), treating approximately 25 patients daily in a focused, clinical environment.
Schedule & Commitment
- Shift: Day, 5 days per week (40 guaranteed hours)
- Contract: 13 weeks; start date November 2, 2026
- On-call: Not required
- Float: You may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities if needed
- Holidays: Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year radiation therapy experience
- Current CA state license
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- ARRT (T) – Radiation Therapy certification
- Proficiency with Varian 21 EX/iX equipment

Clinical Scope
You'll perform external beam therapy, IMRT, tumor localization, custom molds and shields, block cutting, and dose calculations. Patient population spans young adult to older adult age groups.
