Outpatient IV Therapy Specialist – Oncology

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced IV therapy specialist for its outpatient oncology department. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, managing venous access and infusion therapies for cancer patients.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform IV insertions and manage venous access devices
• Place and maintain central lines and PICC lines
• Administer and monitor oncology infusions
• Assess patient needs and troubleshoot access complications
• Document care in accordance with facility standards

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026

Required Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license (state-specific)
• Proven experience with IV therapy and venous access placement
• Oncology nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
